Memory loss

I used to think women were being sarcastic or funny or something when they talked about losing brain cells to the baby. Maybe it's not quite like that, but considering that I cannot remember what I was going to do 1 minute ago (and that this seems to be an increasingly frequent trend in my life) I'm guessing they weren't all joking.

Whoops - I just remembered what it was. Better hurry and do it before its gone again!

It's true and it only gets worse! Pretty soon you'll have to remember all the stuff for yourself AND the baby - feeding and nap schedules, dr apts, diaper bag contents, play groups etc... As they grow older and you add more kids to your famiy you can add - sports practices, dance classes, cub scouts, report and project due dates, library book due dates, dentist appts, lunch money, show and tell, permission slips, music lessons, and the list goes on! The more you have to remember, the more you seem to forget. Start making lists! What's really not fair is that your husband will only have to remember his own schedule.

Hmmmm...it's a good thing they come one at a time and start small!!

You hope they only come one at a time. That's what I thought and then I married Mark. . . the son of a twin. And now look where we're at. . . . I'm lucky if I remember where I put the babies and what their names are.

Yeah, I think when I was pregnant with Mimi was the most frustrating...I couldn't remember all the scientific vocab I was supposed to be teaching my students! At least in normal life you can kind of fudge around forgotten words, but you can't do that very well in an eighth grade science classroom!

Good luck, delivery cures many things but not everything. Start writing lists!

oh, shoot I forgot what I was going to write! List are great, but they only work if you remember to look at them after you make them!

If your like me, you have to remember your husband's schedule, too. (since he can't seem to remember).
Everyone's comments were so hilarious, I was having a hard time in my chair!
On a serious note, I have found it very helpful to write things while I pray at night. I don't think Heavenly Father minds that I take notes.
